Morphy Richards Induction Cooktop Review

Today I bought Morphy Richards CHEF EXPRESS 200 Induction Cook top from www.flipkart.com. I was worried about the electricity bill and cooking utensils before buying this product. But, It gave me a nice experience, though.

The package I received today was nicely tightened with foam and air packets to save the Induction cooktop from sudden jerks during the transportation.

Well, the cookware was surprise for me.

I was really excited to use the induction cooktop, so I installed the heater in my kitchen and boiled a bowl of milk. There are different modes for cooking. As you can see there are few button on the control panel of the induction cooktop. I quickly turned the milk mode on, which set the timer to 20 and temperature to 120. It took much time because, heating milk needs slow heating process to get better pasteurization, and my induction cook top has enough intelligence to do that.

I also tried to make chapatis (Indian Bread, made of wheat flour) on top it, my Mom used traditional Indian tawa ( Indian roti making pan) to make chapatis. But, that was a failure since the tawa is not proper cookware for my induction top and chapatis got burnt. I guess, I must buy few cookwares to get better cooking experience with my induction top - like non-stick pan to make chapatis on induction cooktop.

I ordered a Crompton Greaves CG-LD+  Iron from flipkart.com on saturday. Today I received the package from there self delivery system at  my office. The packaging is good and they delivered on time.

Tractor to Buldozer - The Retrofitting

I work at vsplash Techlabs Pvt. Ltd. Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad as a web designer and integrator. But, my background of qualification is Mechatronics, which specializes in hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC programming. At core I'm an Automation Engineer. Well I learnt web designing at my leisure when I was working in a Forging Company situated in Jamshedpur. It's a long story I'll tell you later, how I shifted my carrier to web designing.

Today, at lunch time I was out for getting a chewing-gum for me (believe me, I quit smoking long back and made the habit of chewing gums and other stuffs). I was happened to see a retrofitted tractor parked under a construction site beside my IT Block which is in Raneja Mindspace, Hi-Tech city.

When I was returning from the shop, I stopped and asked my friend Pradeep to stop and start surveying a tractor which was retrofitted to buldozer, implementing nice fabrication and hydraulics power units to get the result.

My mobile is equipped with 3.5 Megapixel ( which is a Samsung Wave - powered by Bada, not good than Android though). So, I took few pictures of the tractor ( turned to buldozer).

Ordered induction cooktop from flipkart

Today I ordered an Induction heater from flipkart.com. It's a Morphy Richards CHEF EXPRESS 200 Induction Cook Top for INR 3055 ( discount of 10% ). I'm expecting this on 30th of this december. 


I ordered this on my office address, since people find very difficult in reaching my residence address. It's way to inside Erragadda, Hyderabad.


Since, I don't find convenient in booking a new gas connection I've ordered for this cook top, I found this product very popular on flipkart with 8 reviews.


This was not my first order from the internet, I've also ordered a Simba school bag for my niece from www.yebhi.com and Crompton greaves iron from www.flipcart.com earlier this month.


My experience with the delivery was pretty well and expecting the same with other products too.
